Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using MirrorMask ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use MirrorMask.

1. What MirrorMask Does

MirrorMask is a macOS application that automates web browsing to reshape your online advertising profile. It reads your Google advertising interests, generates browsing activity based on personas you select, and shows you how your profile changes over time.

2. License and Usage

Free tier — You may use MirrorMask with limited features at no cost.
Pro license — A one-time purchase grants you a lifetime license for use on one Mac at a time. Licenses are non-transferable between users.
You may not redistribute, reverse-engineer, or modify the application.
One license key may be activated on one machine. Contact support to transfer your license to a different machine.

3. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for your use of MirrorMask and any consequences of the browsing activity it performs.
You must comply with the terms of service of any platform you use MirrorMask with (Google, Facebook, Reddit, Amazon, Temu, etc.).
You must not use MirrorMask for any unlawful purpose.

4. Account Access

MirrorMask accesses your Google account through your local Chrome browser profile. For other platforms, MirrorMask maintains its own browser profile. You are responsible for the security of your accounts and login credentials. MirrorMask does not store or transmit your passwords.

5. Payments and Refunds

Pro licenses are purchased through Stripe. All payment processing is handled by Stripe.
Refund requests may be made within 14 days of purchase by contacting us. Refunds are granted at our discretion.
Refunded licenses will be deactivated.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

MirrorMask is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

The app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
The app will successfully change your advertising profile on any platform.
Third-party platforms will not change their systems in ways that affect MirrorMask's functionality.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of MirrorMask, including but not limited to account restrictions or suspensions by third-party platforms.

8. Changes to the Service

We may update MirrorMask and these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

9. Termination

We may revoke your license if you violate these Terms. You may stop using MirrorMask at any time by uninstalling the application.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Australia.
